There’s nothing quite like gliding on the water, in harmony with one’s surroundings. Nyack’s own Rockland Rowing is the Lower Hudson Valley’s home for rowing at all skill levels — from novice to elite competitors. Whether you’re looking for a fun outing or want to join a team, Rockland Rowing has a program for you.
Rockland Rowing offers a welcoming and supportive community that provides rowing opportunities for all, regardless of experience, abilities, or background.
Fall program sign-ups are now open for Youth (12+), Collegiate, and Adult rowers.
Rockland Rowing also has adaptive programs for athletes with physical or cognitive disabilities.
The training facility at Rockland Lake, at the foot of Hook Mountain, includes over 40 training and racing shells, workout equipment, storage for privately owned shells and oars, coaching launches, and a boat trailer and truck for transporting shells to regattas.
In the summer and fall, Rockland Rowing offers Outrigger Canoe Paddles on the Hudson River. Watch for new dates on their Meetup page.
