Holiday Lights of Nyack 2017
December 2, 2017 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Bundle up for a festive celebration as the Chamber hosts its annual “Holiday Lights of Nyack” event at the Veterans Park Gazebo on Main and Cedar Streets in the center of Nyack.
For openers, kids of all ages can enjoy free refreshments served by local celebrity chef Patisserie Didier Dumas. Everyone can then settle in and enjoy the sounds of the season offered by Bossy Frog and the Sunrise Choir of the Berea 7th Day Adventist Church.
To top off the merriment, the Highland Hose Company has made special arrangements with for a visit from Santa himself — and if everyone is good, there will be presents!
This year’s Holiday Lights celebration is made possible by Nyack’s family and cosmetic dentist Dr. Dwayne M. Bodie D.M.D. and Nyack pediatrician Dr. Kenneth Zatz, MD. The Chamber thanks Pickwick Books for donating the tree, O’Malley’s pub for invaluable support, and Highland Hose Company for working their special connections with the North Pole.
“Holiday Lights of Nyack has become a much-loved tradition in our community. The spirit of the season comes alive with caroling, hot chocolate and cider, Santa and the twinkling lights,” said Baird, Chamber President. “Come for the lights, and stay for the shopping and dining. Our local businesses are spreading the good cheer with special offers for diners and shoppers before and after the event.”
