Landscape and Landmarks: Boscobel House and Gardens

Landscapes and Landmarks at the Nyack Library will focus on the nature, history, and architectural design of the Boscobel House and Gardens. Included are stories about the Hudson Highlands and the Hudson River, the Great Chain and the American Revolution, Constitution Marsh and the estuary, the US Military Academy at West Point (directly across the River), the beginning of America’s environmental movement here in the Hudson River Valley, and how one of America’s great philanthropists, Lila Wallace, saved Boscobel for us all to enjoy.
