Blue/Black & White Minimal Paintings Inspired by the Dogwood Tree and its Blossoms.
“This series of paintings was completed in the last year using a limited palette of mostly blue/black & white. They were inspired by both the dogwood tree in my back yard and a desire to celebrate the beauty in its blossoms. The visual components are simplified to a minimum of shapes in a nighttime theme, which adds to a dramatic sense of mystery and fantasy.”
Reception: Saturday, 04/08/2017; 5-8PM. Exhibit runs through 07/02/2017.
