Elmwood Playhouse presents The Humans, Stephen Karam’s Tony Award winning dramedy (Best Play 2016). When the Blake family gathers for Thanksgiving, holiday banter boils over. Secrets are revealed and tensions erupt over money, relationships, and life choices. Seasoned with humor, The Humans is a relatable portrait of the ways family members hurt–and ultimately heal–one another. This Thanksgiving feast for the heart is onstage weekends through December 7, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm, Sundays at 2 pm.

There is a special captioned performance on Thursday December 5. Captioning is provided by C2, NYC’s premier captioning provider. The captioned performance program at Elmwood Playhouse is made
