On Friday, January 9, 2026 Edward Hopper House Museum is hosting, with Perry Lawson Fine Art, a SCREENING & TALKBACK of “Imber’s Left Hand” with director Richard Kane and artist Jill Hoy.  Come celebrate resilience and the power of art and witness the incredible true story of Hoy’s late husband artist Jon Imber and his inspiring commitment to painting after an ALS diagnosis.

On view through Feb 15, 2026, “Side by Side,” at Edward Hopper House, celebrates the shared artistic life of Jon Imber and Jill Hoy, and right next door at Perry Lawson Fine Art, see “Jill Hoy: Narratives of Form and Color” through Jan 11, 2026.

About Richard Kane is an independent director whose work is focused on the intersection of art and contemporary American life. Previous film releases include, TRUTH TELLERS, Building Hope: Ending Homeless; J. Fred Woell: An American Vision, I Know a Man … Ashley Bryan, Imber’s Left Hand, and 17 others, most part of the Maine Masters collection, a New England Emmy-nominated series of portraits that airs on public television.
