The exhibition brings together a series of Chen’s richly hued\, energetic plein air paintings of Cape Cod\, Massachusetts\, alongside works on paper and watercolors by Edward Hopper and by Josephine Nivison Hopper. \nCentered around Chen’s recent large-scale double portrait\, Rooms by the Sea (2026)—a direct tribute to Edward Hopper’s iconic 1951 masterpiece of the same title at the Yale University Art Gallery depicting his Truro studio —the exhibition explores the Outer Cape of Massachusetts through her vibrant\, contemporary lens. \nOn view October 10\, 2026- February 21\, 2027

Based on the stage adaptation of Bram Stoker’s novel\, the film follows the mysterious vampire as he travels from Transylvania to England\, where he preys upon unsuspecting victims while spreading fear and supernatural terror. Its haunting atmosphere\, memorable performances\, and enduring influence helped define the vampire genre and established Universal Pictures as a powerhouse of classic horror. \nBen Model\, organist and historian for The Library of Congress will play live The Angel Nyack’s Peragallo Pipe Organ!
