Calling all poetry lovers & naysayers! If you’ve ever felt like you don’t “get” poetry, this event is for you—poems require a special kind of engagement that’s more akin to classical music-listening than novel-reading, and works best read aloud in community as opposed to quietly alone. So, we’re creating this experience for you. Join Big Red Books and All Ways Writing Collective for this new program in which we will read aloud together Louise Glück’s Pulitzer Prize-winning book, The Wild Iris, using intuitive forms of engagement to better hear and appreciate the art at hand.
