Rose Hall at Prohibition River presents the Moonshine Theater Festival.

A two evening theater event featuring the following plays:

Friday : In “The Village Cidiot,” a dyed-in-the-wool Manhattanite loses her big corporate job and retires, reluctantly, to a tiny upstate town.

Will her city skills be any match for rural reality, or will marauding bears, a bad septic, and hostile locals defeat her first?

A hilarious and heartfelt journey about navigating life’s disruptions with humor, compassion, and tick repellent.

Lauren Letellier is a writer, performer, and municipal historian of Hillsdale, NY.

Martha Wollner (Director) is a member of NYC’s LAByrinth Theatre Company.

 

 

Saturday :

A Love Story: Sonja and Andrey meet in a Moscow cafe. They are both lonely and a bit socially awkward but as each hilariously reveals their true self, a relationship is kindled.

Doors open at 5:30pm for cocktails & dinner service, show opens at 7pm.Run time one hour.
