BAU Gallery welcomes applications from Mid-Hudson artists who are actively engaged in their practice, who strive for a high level of professionalism in their work, and who are interested in becoming a member of our artist community. BAU members regularly exhibit and sell their work at the gallery and engage with various audiences through programming and events that complement their individual practices.
BAU Gallery’s mission is to exhibit fine art and build a diverse, artistic community. We are an equal opportunity artist-run cooperative with transparent operations and shared responsibilities. Artist-led cooperatives have a rich history in New York and in this spirit BAU has thrived since 2004. With 20 consecutive years of exhibitions we are one of Beacon’s oldest continually operating galleries.
All of our members share in the duties necessary for the running of a successful gallery. Membership is juried by current members via websites, social media, and submitted images.
