We’re having our monthly poetry slam this Saturday, March 2nd at X House in Nyack.
Unlike February’s slam, this is a “normal” slam — that is, anybody can sign up to read.
Doors and sign-ups open at 7:30 PM; sign-ups close at 8 PM sharp; event will run from 8:02 to 10:08 or thereabouts. We’ll have a 4-person open mic and then an 8-person, 3 round slam — details here: https://www.rocklandpoets.org/slam-format-rules
Prizes for March are $75 for first place and $25 for second. As usual, door admission is $10 general; $5 students, seniors, and anyone who can’t afford $10 right now.
