The Holiday Season has arrived, and Hickory Dickory Dock is providing several ways to shop to ensure that your visit is as safe and convenient as possible.

We will continue to have open house hours for in-person browsing in our shop Wednesday through Friday, from 12pm to 5pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 10am – 5pm. During this time, in order to ensure sufficient space for our visitors, we will limit the number of customers in the shop, on a first-come, first-served basis. Depending on the number of shoppers inside, you may be asked to wait.

We respectfully request that you be courteous during our open-house hours by trying to limit the size of your shopping party, and by being aware of your time inside if others are waiting. We also hope you will understand that due to staffing and time constraints, we will not be able to personalize ornaments or gift-wrap during these open-house hours. We are happy to provide these services for you if you make an appointment, or if you are willing to leave the items in question and come back the following day.

Morning and evening hours will be reserved for appointments (more info on that below). Monday and Tuesdays from 12pm – 5pm will be reserved for appointments as well, however we will open the door for public browsing if no appointments are made. If you wish to visit on a Monday or Tuesday without an appointment, you are welcome to call ahead to find out if we’re open for public browsing.

Appointment Shopping

Outside of those open house hours, 30-minute appointments are available all day Mondays and Tuesdays, Weekday mornings and evenings, and weekend evenings:

For those who are uncomfortable being in the shop with any other shoppers, morning appointments will be solo appointments. Your party and our staff will be the only people in the shop during your half hour. Morning appointments are available Monday through Friday at 10am, 10:30am, 11am, and 11:30am.

All other appointments will allow you to shop with only two other parties in the shop. For these appointments, we ask you to limit your party to four or fewer people, unless otherwise discussed. These appointments are available every half hour Mon & Tue from 12pm – 6:30pm, and Wed-Sun at 5:00pm – 6:30pm.

We especially encourage you to book an appointment if:

1. You want to ensure extra physical space as you shop.

2. You don’t want to risk a long wait to enter our shop during open house hours.

3. You need ornaments personalized or any items gift wrapped, as we will be unable to offer these services during our open house hours

4. You wish to ensure that our staff will be fully at your disposal to help you with suggestions, history lookup, etc.

5. You want to come with a larger party (morning solo appointments)

Winter Delights at Hickory Dickory Dock

We are very excited to announce our first-ever Winter Delights at Hickory Dickory Dock. Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays 11/27 thru 12/20, you will be able to shop outside in our garden space. We will have a booth of our merchandise, alongside booths from a number of other local vendors. Come enjoy the lights, food, music, and shop in the fresh air. We highly recommend that you consider the curbside pickup option, as all shipping services are facing unprecedented volume this year. Curbside pickup is the best way to ensure that you will receive your order before Christmas.

Livestreaming our Shop

We will be livestreaming a walk-through of our shop every Saturday at 9:30am on our Instagram, with the video to be saved for later viewing. If you spot something during the livestream that you’re interested in, let us know!

Please Hold Off on Clock Repairs

Given the many challenges of this season, we are pausing our clock repair cycle until January. Please do not bring clocks of any kind for repair until the new year. We apologize for any inconvenience.
