The Great Nyack House Tour – Houses with a Secret

The Historical Society of the Nyacks will be hosting its sixth biennial house tour on Saturday, May 3, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Titled “Houses with a Secret,” this special tour invites visitors to explore 10 houses that have mysteries hiding behind the doors. In case your speculation does not unlock the secrets in each amazing home, our volunteer docents will be there to demystify the local history surrounding each property.

There will be several stops this year in the Nyacks – homes ranging from cottages to Queen Anne Victorian, Carpenter Gothic to Dutch Colonial Revival. What a wonderful Mother’s Day gift, just in time for that special celebration!

Reservations may be purchased by clicking here, at the Nyack Public Library (59 South Broadway), by mailing a check to Historical Society of the Nyacks, P. O. Box 850, Nyack, NY 10960, or on May 3 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Living Christ Church, address below.

The early bird price is $40.00 until April 28th; after that the price is $50. Your guidebook and map may be picked up on the day of the tour at the Living Christ Church, 151 South Broadway, South Nyack, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the day of the tour.
