This June, Nyack was bursting with Pride! There were so many amazing events to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community in Nyack and Rockland County.

On Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 6pm, the Nyack NAACP, the Rockland County Pride Center, and the Village of Nyack dedicated Bayard Rustin Way

This special Street Dedication Ceremony was open to the public and immediately followed by the Annual Block Party Celebrating the Black LGBTQ+ Community at Hezekiah Easter Square (Main & Cedar Streets).

Now in its 24th year, Rockland Pride Sunday returned, bigger and better than ever! On June 12, 2022, Phyllis B. Frank Pride Center of Rockland County hosted their annual celebration in-person for the first time in two years in Downtown Nyack, where Main Street and Broadway were closed to traffic as we took our PRIDE to the streets!

This free, family-friendly event featured a parade followed by live music with Frankie D and The Boys, David Budway and special guest performers, Drag Queens, the Crowning of Mx. Rockland County Pride, outdoor dining, shopping, vendors, and more!
