DESCRIPTION:Kevin Goodan was born in Montana and raised on the Flathead Indian Reservation where his stepfather and brothers are tribal members. Goodan earned his BA from the University of Montana and worked as a firefighter for ten years with the U.S. Forest Service before receiving his MFA from University of Massachusetts-Amherst in 2004. He has taught at the University of Connecticut and has served as Visiting Writer at Wesleyan University. He is author of Spot Weather Forecast\, Anaphora\, Let the Voices\, and Upper Level Disturbances. He lives in the Upper Valley Region of New Hampshire\, and operates a logging and milling enterprise.

DESCRIPTION:Jimin Han was born in Seoul\, South Korea\, and grew up in Providence\, Rhode Island; Dayton\, Ohio; and Jamestown\, New York. She is the author of A Small Revolution and The Apology. She has written for NPR’s Weekend America\, Poets and Writers Magazine\, Catapult Magazine\, Platypus Press\, and Citric Acid Literary Journal\, among others. She teaches at Sarah Lawrence College and Pace University\, as well as at community writing centers. She lives outside New York City. \nJessica Rao is an award-winning journalist and media professional who has held contributor roles at CNBC and Gannett and overseen communications for Fortune 500 companies. In addition to her media career\, Jessica is the Vice President of the White Plains Library Foundation Board\, and she hosts and produces literary events. Her debut novel Nowhere to Go but Everywhere is forthcoming in fall 2026.

DESCRIPTION:Join All Ways Writing and Big Red Books for an evening of poetry featuring renowned poets Valzhyna Mort and Samyak Shertok joined by community readers Kelly Jo Lillian\, Conrad Lochner\, Marjorie Tesser\, Tedo Wyman\, and Laura Zaino. \nValzhyna Mort is a poet and translator born in Minsk\, Belarus. She is the author of Factory of Tears (Copper Canyon Press\, 2008)\, Collected Body (Copper Canyon Press\, 2011) and Music for the Dead and Resurrected (FSG\, 2020)\, named one of the best poetry book of 2020 by The New York Times and The NPR\, and the winner of the 2020 International Griffin Poetry Prize and the 2022 UNT Rilke Prize. She teaches at Cornell University. \nSamyak Shertok’s debut collection\, No Rhododendron (University of Pittsburgh Press\, 2025)\, was selected by Kimiko Hahn for the 2024 AWP Donald Hall Prize for Poetry and longlisted for the 2026 PEN Open Book Award. Originally from Nepal\, he is an Assistant Professor of English at Mississippi State University.
