Nyack SeptemberFest Street Fair September 13 2015Outdoor fun doesn’t end on Labor Day in Nyack. The festivities continue into fall as the Village hosts the Nyack Chamber’s 29th annual SeptemberFest street fair, set for Sunday, September 13th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm — rain or shine. Generous support is provided by Time Hotel. Admission is free.

Families and fun-seekers shouldn’t miss this unique event, featuring over 300 vendors offering fine crafts, jewelry, art, photography, collectibles, antiques, quality handmade crafts, unique gifts — and much more. Not to mention the great shops and restaurants in Nyack that will be joining in with special offers.

Lining both Main Street and Broadway in the heart of Nyack, the fair will also feature live entertainment and street performers — plus great fair food, including Greek, Jamaican, Polish and Italian specialties, as well as home-made fudge, dipped pretzels and kettle corn.

In keeping with Nyack’s cultural roots and vibrant arts community, this year’s fair will include live music onstage in the Veterans’ Park gazebo (Main and Cedar Streets) provided by acclaimed local talent and produced by Nyack’s own Anjel Blue Rehearsal Studios and The Nyack Music School. The entertainment will continue throughout the day, featuring Jim Connolly, Kevin Hurley acoustic duo, Dan Rapowski, Dave Reiss and Friends, and the River Skye Band.

While grown-ups groove to the music, the fair will offer plenty for the younger set, with special attractions for the kids in the Main Street parking lot.

“SeptemberFest is a great tradition in Nyack,” says Scott Baird, President of the Nyack Chamber. “For over a quarter century, this fair has anchored the fall season’s vibrant, outdoor cultural life in Nyack. It underscores our key message: Nyack is a great place to live, work, do business — and play.”
