For over 30 years, the Rockland County Jazz & Blues Society has been supporting jazz and blues in Rockland County, ensuring the opportunity to enjoy world-class music first hand and celebrating the many fine musicians who call this area home. The annual Nyack Jazz Week showcases jazz and blues music in venues in and around Nyack: a legendary music “cafe,” a 17th century tavern that hosted Gen. George Washington, an iconic painter’s backyard, a Carnegie library, and on the banks of the Hudson River. Each year, one full week of consecutive nights of great music (indoors & out, many free to the public) feature a range of New York and world-renowned artists.
